There’s a lot to love about Boba and Crepes, the independent shop in southeast Denver that specializes in crepes filled with everything from fresh fruit to green tea ice cream to “slices of beef pastrami, corn, lettuce, cucumber, cheese, ketchup, and topped with mayanoise.” What to wash it down? Fruit teas, milk teas, slushies and smoothies and bubble teas…or maybe just New England clam chowder, because this kitchen offers that, too. In late 2012, Boba and Crepes moved across the street to a bigger, more streamlined space, but it held onto its excellent collection of Slam Dunk, the sports-themed manga series about a high-school basketball team in Japan.

  • Crepes 'n Crepes

    3000 Zuni St. Northwest Denver

    303-955-4989

Crepes are in (were they ever really out?), and no one does them better than Crepes 'n Crepes, because the place is uncompromisingly, unabashedly and unstintingly French. The large but admirably unfocused menu is written in French; the owners -- Kathy Knight and Alain Veratti -- are French; all the iron crepe griddles are French; and the ingredients and preparations -- the camembert and Chambord, ratatouille and sauce aux champignons -- are French. This is the third Crepes 'n Crepes location, which opened in July 2017.
